Our dream is of a secure, peaceful, free and prosperous Jewish homeland, which maintains a strong bond with the world Jewry and with the friends of Israel. With good cooperation between us, we believe we can move closer to this dream and to the goals of the founders of the state of Israel.

Birth of the IHelpIsrael project - during the Second Lebanon War 

The idea of IHelpIsrael.com was born in Tel Aviv, during the midst of the 2006 war of Israel with the terrorist Lebanese group Hezbollah.

For weeks Hezbollah was shooting dozens of missiles to Israel, every day and night. Haifa, Tiberias, Afula and many other Israeli cities were hit. Innocent Israeli citizens were killed, injured and displaced. Israelis had to stay for weeks in shelters, under heavy fire, while the Israeli Army fought back.

We have built a nation by the power of commitment and solidarity 

The respond of Israel's friends worldwide to the threat on Israel was immediate and overwhelming. The Jewish Diaspora communities stood firmly by the side of Israel at those challenging days of combat. The political, economical and emotional support of the Jewish communities of the world made Israel stronger.

Life is tough in Israel. Acts of terror have become a devastating everyday sight here. On the social level, the reality is stark as well. Poverty becomes Israel's new enemy. One in three Israeli children is hungry. Almost one in five families is below the poverty line.

We have built a nation not by the daring acts of a few, but by the power of the Jewish collective commitment and solidarity with the state, the people and the land of Israel. The world Jewry, with it unwavering love to Israel, has been always involved in building and maintaining a strong and vibrant Israel.
